- The SHTP drive element consists of a rugged crankcase filled with oil to lubricate the reduction gears and other components.
- The stroke adjustment is done by a variable eccentric crank mechanism immersed in the oil bath that provides the precise and linear adjustment of the stroke.
- Minimum play, easily adjusted and high overload capacity of variable eccentric crank.
- The eccentric provides positive return of the plunger.
- The stroke produced is linear, easily reproducible and precise. Minimum effort is required for adjusting the stroke even at full capacity and high pressures. The stroke can be easily locked in “a given set position”.
- The drive element lubricating oil is separate from the hydraulic oil or hydraulic chamber.
- Wetted parts can be supplied in various materials, the selection vital for specific applications to meet temperature, pressure, flow and corrosion resistance of the product pumped by the liquid end.
- Rugged drive and stroke control components which are hardened and ground to close tolerances – ensuring long service life.
- Flow rates can be adjusted while pumps are running or stopped.
- Varied flow and pressure performance is achieved through the use of four gear ratios for each model.
- Special designs for various liquid end designs to meet customer application or process demands or requirement.
- Reliable check valves to ensure metering accuracy – simple in design requiring simple tools to replace in minimum time.
- Liquid ends manufactured by SHTP are Packed Plunger Pump and Hydraulic Balanced Diaphragms.
- Meets the performance requirements of API 675 and Hydraulic Institute.
